I have over 40 flights on mine. I'm really happy with it. I have some build pics if you need. Here's a video of the maiden flight...

Marcio, that was one sweet maiden, glad you liked the design and hope it gives you many great rewarding flights.

I'm sure you explored the slow speed flight and now land her so she stops at your feet

Seriously this is a great airframe (well flown now in the US especially) and a peach to fly in almost any style....

Be great to see a nice selection of video of the Vixen posted here for reference too.

great video!! Build pics would be awesome! Let me know what equipment you used. Gotta start buying after I pay off the kit lol. Already have the turbine ATJ 190 SV

Thanks Marc! Yes, first I landed a little too fast. I have learned to slow her down and she gets really slow. Really a lot of fun to fly it. I'm actually building a second one for friend of mine and I'll post some pics as I go.

Thanks Johnny! I'm using the new jet central mammoth in mine. It's 52 pounds of thrust. I'm building a second one for friend and I'll post some pics of the build as I go.

What servos everyone using on this bird? I'm a JR fan but I see the 8911 are no longer made. Been using Savox and like them along with the Price!!!! Any recommendations would be great. Wanna go HV on this one. Ideas? I also decided on the air retracts va the electric ones that were about 700 more.

I only have about fifteen flights on mine. I Hope to get much more flying in before the weather gets bad. This is a big heavy plane but it flies very light and slows to a crawl.
It seems eastern Ohio is the center of the Vixen universe with four in one club and all of us love the way the It flies.
My main gripe is that the main gear needs heavier springs.
Hitec servos all around

Great flying jet!! I have 45+ flights on mine! All JR 8911's and a K-180 for power. It does 185mph on a flat pass and lands like a feather...
Thank you Billy D

Pics....

The kit comes with some really nice aluminum servo mounts. For the elevator servo mount i had to use L shape. Supplied servo mount wouldn't allow cover to flush mount with JR8711. No big deal.

Decided to use aluminum clamp for main strut door mount instead of Ply wood ring provided with kit. Wood ring would work fine too...

Braza What equipment will you be using on this jet? Servos, receivers, "powerbox" if any retract setup? Is it HV servos?, Header tank?

E ai Beleza? I'm using 8711 on all surfaces. 2x futaba 6014HS Rx. 2x 2500mah life batteries with 2x heavy duty switches. No power expanders or Gyro. All high flow with bvm high flow uat. My personal Vixen has a Mammoth and the one I'm currently building for a customer will use a K210.
For the brake and I'm using UP6 on both planes and mechanical valve for the gear. Gear has worked so far. No leaks or issues at all. Air kit with this plane have very good quality.
8711 for airbrake as well.
Servos are not HV.
