Thank you, TR, good info. Makes me glad I don't yet have a T-72, so where do I get in line?

I wonder if Imex will be carrying these?

Any guesses on price? I'm thinking over $400 USD. I can't wait to see pics of the TX.

It looks like they are going to have 2 models. One looks like a lower end plastic edition for around 199 pounds and a metal edition that they didn't give a price for. Erik mentioned these awhile back so maybe they are planning to carry them.

I saw that part about the two versions, I wonder if they'll both have the same lower hull? And another good question will be how long it takes the vendors to start making aftermarket accessories. The figures sound very interesting, too. Damn, now the wheels are turnin' in the hippie brain, but I gotta finish this P3 and get the Sd.Kfz. 251 mobile!! Stay focused, Gary!!

It looks like they have developed their own control unit http://www.waltersons.com/download/M...-28-3-2015.pdf

I only saw one photo of the TX but it said that it's 8 channel. It kind of looks like the hk6s from HobbyKing.

I can't wait to see photos of the inside. If it's set up like the IMEX Tiger 1 where even the plastic versions have the metal lower Hull with functional suspension it's going to be really great.

Just glanced over the pdf. Still no use of a hobby grade radio other than their system? Would have been nice if this unit could be connected to an already owned RX. Still looks like a nice unit included in tank though.

Says it works with other receivers so this should allow you to use it with any radio

i saw that but 4 wire in from Rx wouldn't work. Maybe they have an adapter or inbetween?

Maybe we'll see some pics down the road of it plugged into their RX or an aftermarket RX.

Just got a small update, the Panzer girls are Japan only, sorry guys
I'll get more details on the tank soon, I know there will be multiple configurations, just not sure on what I can leak yet. It will use a new electronics system similar to the new 24th scale board but how much different I do not know yet.

It says the sounds will be captured from real T-72 so thats encouraging! I also definitely want 360 turret rotation and barrel stabilization. I will own this tank one day!

I received a reply from Waltersons on a thread I commented on over on FB and it looks like the M-60 will be their second 1/16 release sometime later this year.

T.R., you just made my entire year. I've been waiting for an M60 since the day I bought my first rc tank.
