Good morning guys, I need your help. Can someone remind me of my Stik Brotherhood number as I have forgotten it. Getting old can really be a PITA.

That's right karolh, no 60.

I'd better get that list up to date!

In the blue banner select "User CP"
Scroll down to "Settings & Options"
Select "Edit Signature"
Make changes (Remember you can't go over 500 characters and spaces count)
Select "Save Signature" Optionally you can select "Preview Signature" if you want to see how it looks before saving.
Done!

My Stik project has officially started. She is an old Model Tech Joss Stick ARC kit. I'm changing the tail to an Ultra Stick style tail and adding flaps. Going to mount a Super Tigre .90 glow engine on it.

Been 20 some odd years since I've been active in this hobby and this project has me excited to fly again. Going to have to break out a trainer to hone my flying skills first though.

I'll add photos as soon as I get the minimum post count up...
Chris

Thrust angle question...
I'm building this Model Tech Joss Stick .60 size and the copy of the manual I have is missing the step regarding engine mounting. But the plans seem to indicate o degrees offset in both directions.

Does this seem right?

Nevermind, once I opened my eyes I found where it specifies 0-0 degree offset...

Great job, looks marvelous!
0-0 engine? Forget it.
0.5 down and 2.5 - 3.5 right. Depending on the engine/prop combination.
Pull to vertical, hands off.
Tweek right thrust until there is no deviation left or right.
Trust me, It's worth the effort.

Default Texas RC

Guys, I've had a H9 Ultra Stik 30cc, but broke it badly a couple months ago. I have two different engines that could power a replacement Stick. I have a DLE-20ra, and a 3W-56b2. I see that Texas RC has several "Dracstick" that could work with these engine sizes. I've never seen an airplane from Texas RC, so wondering if their airplanes are worth looking at. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Larry

How big do yu want? This laser cutter has a 100" Stik short kit for under $100.

Default Texas RC

Not looking to build a Stick. Got a couple big builds on the bench already. Wondering the quality of Texas RC's airplanes. Looking for a big ARF.

ARF? Isn't that something Little Orphan Annie's dog says?

Default Great Planes Big Stik 20

Running out of room in my hobby room - so decided on putting a Big Stik 20 together from a short kit!
I have a couple of left over OS 25 and Magnum XL 28's left over from my old scale RC Combat days - these need a home and I need to keep busy.
Finding a complete kit of almost anything balsa are difficult to find - so I'm going the short kit route.
Short kit is from Balsaworkbench - got free plans on line and got instruction manual on Ebay.
Should be getting it started in about a week. If anyone has photos or videos of the Great Planes Big Stik 20 (static or flying) I'd enjoy checking it out.

I love the color, a truly inspiring choice! The Squadron Leader gives it his seal of approval too!
